Version 7 is here!

I’m very pleased to announce that version 7.0 of SAR Assist is now available for everyone!
The road to this update has been long, and involved some tremendous collaboration from folks across the province providing feedback, requests, testing, and more. Thank you to everyone who has been helping out!
The most important thing to know about this update is that IT IS NOT BACKWARDS COMPATIBLE. In other words, when you’re running version 7, you cannot work over a network or internet sync with computers running 6.14. It will not work. Do not try.
A link to version 6.14.42 will remain on the “Downloads” page permanently for anyone who needs to access it, and it can run in parallel with the new version (meaning the new version won’t replace this one on your computer).
All that said, lets get into some of the new improvements!
-Spell check has been added throughout the program on most boxes where you type text.
-The networking performance has been significantly improved in a number of ways
-Internet sync performance should be somewhat improved
-Added ICS-220 Air Ops Summary
-More flexible Org Chart and Comms Plan
-Strategies and Tactics to support the objectives
-Greatly expanded member qualification tracking
-View an edit history on some screens, and roll back changes to a previous version.
There are many, many other improvements throughout the program. I hope this new version serves you well and makes your life a bit easier.
